Graduating of the class of 1988 as Valedictorian, Ingrid Jackson moved on to become a face in Grenadian electoral politics.  She has since contested two elections, 1999 and 2008, for the National Democratic Congress, which won the majority of seats and formed the government on July 8, 2008.
